Improv and Acting

This class will develop acting skills in students with acting through Improv! Students will participate in acting activites that require quick thinking skills, thinking creatively, connecting with scene partners, listening, and making bold choices. Our goal is to create a fun and positive learning environment while providing quality instruction that will challenge and motivate them.
Class meets on Mondays: 6-7pm
Class Begins on: Sept 18th, 2023
Class ends on: Dec 11th, 2023

Teaching Instructor: AMANDA MASTERPAUL:
Amanda brings with her a wealth of knowledge and expertise in theatre ranging from acting to improv to movement to devising theatre for social change. She has been a theatre-maker, director, and teaching artist for over 20 years. She has degrees in Theatre and Women’s and Gender Studies from the University of South Carolina and a Master’s in Social Justice and Community Organizing from Prescott College. Amanda believes that every child has a creative spark ready to be ignited and she absolutely loves nurturing their artistic potential towards a lifelong passion for the arts!
Dance: Ages 6 & 7
Register for our WHITE Level classes and have fun exploring a variety of dance forms! These are great classes to start off dance training with great technique and lots of fun!
Ballet/Jazz meets on MONDAYS: 4-5pm
